Economic times are tough and as the spring comes new trends are coming out of Fashion Week that thankfully won’t devastate tight budgets. These looks, reported by Glamour.com, are simple and won’t require a personality change to pull off. Very chic and most importantly affordable, spring trends include, the red carpet favorite, one-shoulder dresses, big shoulder jackets, blanket coats, ruffled strapless dresses, and edgy little black dresses. Mix it up for spring 2009

It’s time to give up the beloved wool peacoat and Uggs for a while because spring is in the air, so it’s time to give some new looks a chance. Chilly New York Fashion Week offered a plethora of hot styles and trends the everyday girl can easily incorporate into her spring wardrobe. Glamour.com reported that Fashion Week presented spring styles that are as appealing on the runway as they are off. In other words, a girl doesn’t have to be six feet tall to pull off these fresh looks. As the flowers bloom and the weather gets warmer make a change and take a chance on funky zipper accents, appealing relaxed fit trousers, and sophisticated trenches. Accessory trends for spring are versatile, consider a glittering oversize, statement necklace, exotic bangles, or a large patterned bag.
